Butterfly Jewels & The BEST Easter Card

A simple but very labor intensive card for the Jeweled Color Trends Challenge at Embellish Magazine.

Create a card, layout, or altered item with jewels (including sequins, beads, rhinestones, gemstones, and pearls) and using the color palette showcased in the inspirational graphic above.
Jewels are a perfect way to dress up any project. You can add them to an embellishment or to the actual layout to create a design. It’s all up to you and we can’t wait to see what you create!

I stamped the butterfly trail from Baby Button Bits, and then cut another piece of paper and placed it under the stamped one, and poked tiny holes to use as a template for my stitching. Then I back stitched each bead along the "trail."  At the end I stitched along the entire trail to make sure the beads were all aligned.
